Eric Petersen was born in Santa Monica, California in 1973 and is currently based in Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA. He received a BA in Art from California State University, Northridge and has taken continuing education courses at Art Center College of Design, The Cooper Union, and School of Visual Arts. Eric’s work is inspired by instructional graphics and video games.

Artist Statement:
Eric Petersen creates art of people in simple environments. His focus is to get the viewer to feel something from the blank-eyed characters that inhabit his cold void. He works in a digital format using precise technical linework. Empathy and self-reflection is what is important to Eric.
